Resource development
The development of nonferrous metal mineral resources is the core business and primary pillar of growth for China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC). The company currently controls 28 mining-related projects both in China and abroad, with a total of 18.34 million tonnes of mineral reserves in major nonferrous metals. This includes 11.29 million tonnes of copper, 5.96 million tonnes of lead and zinc, 470,000 tonnes of cobalt, 340,000 tonnes of nickel, and 290,000 tonnes of tungsten, tin, and molybdenum combined. CNMC has established a complete industrial chain encompassing mineral exploration, mining, beneficiation, and smelting, with a total annual copper smelting capacity of nearly 1.7 million tonnes. The Group holds 39 mining rights across China and internationally, covering a total area of 1,198 square kilometers, of which 1,176 square kilometers are located abroad—in countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Zambia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Myanmar, and Indonesia.

Materials Business
CNMC has been actively developing a presence in the upstream of the industrial chain, targeting high-end segments of the value chain, and promoting the expansion of the entire materials industry. It has established a diversified "one core, two wings" structure—centered on copper, tin, zinc, nickel, cobalt, tantalum, niobium, beryllium and other base and alloy materials, complemented by rare metals such as titanium, tungsten, molybdenum, and vanadium, as well as precious metals like gold, silver, platinum, rhodium, and palladium, along with materials for the new energy sector and new functional crystal materials—thus creating new engines of economic growth for CNMC.
