Zambian Government held Celebration for the Successful Listing of CNMCL in Zambia

On July, 26 2012 celebration for the successful listing of CNMCL, organized by Ministry of Finance and National Planning of Zambia was held in Zambia. the Acting-president of Zambia and Minister of Finance and National Planning of Zambia Alexander

Commerce Counselor of China to Zambia and other diplomats, 10 Ministers from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mines, Agriculture, Transport and Communication, News, Lands and Natural Resources, and Culture, and hundreds of Zambian government officials and celebrities, and China Central Television attended the celebration.

Ambassador of China to Zambia H.E. Mr. Zhou Yuxiao delivered a speech. He affirmed Chinese enterprises’ contribution to China- Zambia cooperation CNMC as the lead. He said that Chinese government will constantly support economic development of Zambia. Ambassador also hoped that CNMC could make more contribution to the level up of livelihood of local community.

The Acting-president and Minister of Finance and National Planning of Zambia congratulated on CNMCL’s successful listing in Hong Kong, and sang high praise to CNMC’s contribution. He pointed out that as the first African stock got listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange; CNMCL has presented the value of Zambia as an ideal investment destination to the world. It is another significant contribution CNMC has made for the development of Zambia. Ministry of Finance and National Planning will further support CNMC to increase investment and create jobs to Zambian people.
