On July 21st, 2010, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia H.E. Yu Hongyao visited CNMC. The vice-president of CNMC Xu Shusen, chief accountant Wu Xiang, CNMC-controlled NFC general manager Wang Hongqian and Mr. Zhang Shili, the general manager of Mongolia Tsrirt Mineral Co., Ltd. warmly received the ambassador.
Mr. Xu Shusen conveyed the greetings and best wishes from CNMC president Luo Tao and first vice-president Zhang Keli to H.E. Yu Hongyao. He pointed out that the Tumurtin-ovoo zinc mine invested and operated by NFC was of great significance and he extended thanks to the ambassador for continued support and help from the embassy. The ambassador sang high praise for CNMC and NFC by saying that Tumurtin-ovoo zinc mine in Mongolia contributed to local employment and social and economic development and hailing the project as the symbolic project for mining cooperation between China and Mongolia.
